We’re located at 895 American Lane in Schaumburg, right in the heart of Northwest Chicagoland. We’re conveniently just off the I-90 / I-290 interchange and minutes from Woodfield Mall.
What are your hours?
We’re open 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM, seven days a week.
Is there parking?
Yes. There’s ample on-site parking.
When is the club opening?
We’re targeting an October 2026 opening.
What will Oak & Paddle offer?
We’re creating a full club experience with court reservations, open play, leagues, lessons, clinics, tournaments, skill-level events, social gatherings, and flexible membership options. We also feature a dedicated events room perfect for hosting private parties, corporate outings, and memorable pickleball experiences.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes — 100%! Pickleball is for everyone. We offer beginner-friendly lessons, clinics, and group play sessions designed to help new players learn and improve at their own pace.
Are kids welcome? Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Kids are welcome at the club. Players 15 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times. Players 14 and up may join adult open play with an adult present (not required to play). Players 13 and under are welcome to play alongside their accompanying adult.

Do I have to become a member to play?

Visitor rates are listed on our membership page at oakandpaddle.com/join.

Courts, Reservations & Open Play
Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?
You can reserve a court ahead of time or walk in and book a court on the spot, subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance.
Can I reserve a court in advance?
Yes. Both visitors and members can reserve courts. Visitors pay a higher rate and can book up to 3 days in advance, while members receive lower rates and can book 7–15 days in advance (depending on membership tier). Subject to availability.
How do I reserve a court?
You can book directly through the CourtReserve app. Download the app, add Oak & Paddle Pickleball Club, create a free Visitor account, and start reserving courts. We’re also happy to help over the phone or email.
What’s your cancellation / no-show policy?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance receive account credit. Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund or credit.
For events that require a set number of players, a $5 no-show fee applies. That fee is waived if you notify us at least 90 minutes before start time and we’re able to fill your spot.
What is an open play session?
Open play sessions are specific events on the calendar, typically 3 hours in length, where players can participate without having their own partner. The open play format is rotational — you will mix in with others for a fun & dynamic social experience. We typically offer 3 sessions per day and over 200 hours per month – the most in pickleball!
Is open play grouped by skill?
All skill levels are welcome at open play. There’s one designated challenge court with its own paddle-up system, and a separate paddle-up system for the remaining courts. Players of similar skill typically gravitate toward each other naturally.
