Tournament Format
MLP-Style Team Format.
The same format as Major League Pickleball — competitive, exciting, and fair. Here's how it breaks down.
11
Points to Win
Pool play games go to 11, win by 2. Every point matters.
4
Players Per Match
Teams of 4 compete in rotational doubles — MLP style.
6–9
Game Guarantee
No matter how the bracket goes, you're guaranteed at least 6 games.
SE
Single Elimination
Every team advances to the bracket after pool play. Pool record determines seeding.
How It Works
Tournament Structure
01
Pool Play
Your team plays round-robin within your pool. All matches use Sideout Scoring to 11, win by 2 — pool play and bracket. You must be serving to earn a point.
02
Rotational Doubles
Tied match? Enter the Rotational Doubles tiebreaker — Rally Scoring to 21, with new partners rotating in every 4 points. Every player on your team touches the ball.
03
Bracket Play
All teams advance to the single elimination bracket after pool play. Your pool record determines seeding — every win in pool play matters.
04
DUPR Reporting
Every match is reported to DUPR. Whether you win or learn, your rating reflects the competition you faced.
